There are many reasons why dogs may need to be walked alone, they may be old and less able to keep up with the more energetic, the last thing they want is to be knocked by the younger ones. They may not be the most sociable of pets around other animals and prefer the one to one attention. What ever the reason we can talk to you during consultation and determine the reasons and offer you a one to one service where we can individually look after your pets needs and tailor a suitable walk to ensure you dog is getting good exercise.
Your dog will thank you for providing them with quality time and heaps of affection they will receive.
One-to-one dog walks can be arranged on a regular weekly basis, or as infrequent or one-off events when you are unable to walk your dog yourself. When out for a walk, private or in a group, your dog will encounter other people, other dogs, perhaps other animals as well as noises and scents that they likely do not get to experience at home. This will inspire confidence in your dog, again helping him be more balanced and relaxed.
Our solo dog walk experience will give us the opportunity to spend quality time with your dog – when you are unable to – exercise them , play with and reward them, and shower them with affection.
We can build up good relationships with older, less mobile dogs and their owners, and could help those with walk/behavioural difficulties to become more accustomed to their environment
We offer a free consultation where we can meet yourself and your dog in their own environment and make some general assesments of their personality and talk to you about their normal walking habits. This also gives us the opportunity to run through our work and explain the relevant paper work which is necessary to ensure we have all relevant details. If you are happy to proceed we can organise a dog walk so we can get to know your dog a litter better and see how they are on the lead, we can then make the necessary arrangements to proceed with the one to one dog walks.
We follow the narps uk code of practise and you can see the policy documents under policy and procedure section.
